Mollie Ginther is an author and illustrator, with a focus on children's and young adult literature. Mollie has a passion for visual storytelling and is always looking for creative twists on daily life to bring unusual and new stories to the table. She's drawn to bold colors, unusual patterns and small details.

Mollie grew up in rural Wisconsin and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drawing and painting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.​ She moved to Hawai'i in 2016, where she still lives and works as a scientific illustrator, while continuing to write and complete freelance projects in her free time. When not creating, you can find her diving in the ocean, where she draws the majority of her inspiration.
